Fannie and Mary Alice Dyckman were daughters of Isaac Michael and Fannie Blackwell (Brown) Dyckman. They gave Dyckman House in upper Manhattan to the City of New York, which has preserved it as an historic landmark. Fannie (pictured at right) later married the architect Alexander McMillan Welch; Mary Alice later married Bashford Dean, the noted zoologist.
