DescriptionDark blue wool replica of War of 1812 style single-breasted Brigadere General's coat; red double collar (open), red facing from shoulder to waist, with a row of 8 mock buttonholes and buttons along each side; front edges curve inward over the breast and then back towards the hips, front closes with 3 sets of hooks and eyes; open sleeves with red cuffs, horizontal row of 3 mock buttonholes and buttons; all buttons plain gilt; 4 panels at the back, 2 buttons near the center at the waistline, 2 false pocket flaps at the waistline at each rear hip with horizontal row of 3 mock buttonholes and buttons at the bottom edge, skirt split from waistline to bottom; bodice and sleeves lined with white cotton, skirt lined with red wool.ClassificationsMILITARY TOOLS & EQUIPMENT: UNIFORM
