BiographyElizabeth Moran was the daughter of Theodore T. Moran and Sarah D. Moran. On April 11, 1888, she became the second wife of Edwin Denison Morgan (1854-1933), noted yachtsman and grandson of Edwin Denison Morgan, Civil War Governor of NY. The couple had five children: Elizabeth S., Katherine A., Edwin Denison, Jr. Thomas Archer, and Jasper Morgan. In 1916, Mrs. Morgan founded the Nassau County Chapter of the American Red Cross. The Morgans had homes in Newport, Rhode Island, Windsor, Vermont, and Westbury, Long Island.
