The USA Basketball Women's National Team defeated Cuba for the bronze medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. As of 2022, seven of the team’s twelve players have been inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame: Vicky Bullett, Clarissa Davis-Wrightsil, Cynthia Cooper, Teresa Edwards, Katrina McClain Johnson, Teresa Weatherspoon, and Daedra Charles. Members of the 1992 team signed this basketball.
