This watch was worn by Van Rensselaer Schuyler (1773-1847), third son of General Philip Schuyler (1733-1804). It was later used by John Schuyler (1829-1895).
DescriptionGold pocket watch; side-hinged top with gold bezel (missing glass); white enamel dial with black arabic numeral hours and minute markings; second dial in center marked with days of the month; inscription engraved on back of case.
