DescriptionLeaded glass and bronze Tiffany Dragonfly lampshade; 20-inch diameter cone-shaped shade with seven dragonflies repeated around circumference of shade; dragonfly bodies and eyes rendered in shades of red, orange and yellow; wings are mauve and covered with metal filigree; background glass of striated and mottled yellow, orange, purple, and blue glass; three red and yellow "jewels" in each repeated section; blue-purple apron with three rows of geometric rectangles; shade aperture 4 1/4". Shown with bronze Water Lily, twisted stem base (N84.54.2) and cap (N84.54.3).
Markingsstamped on metal tag inside shade: "TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 1495" stamped on underside of base: "TIFFANY STUDIOS / NEW YORK / S220 / 443"
