DescriptionWhite cardboard matchbook printed in yellow, brown, red and green on the matchcover; on the front of the matchcover, an anthropomorphized design motif of a cartoon coyote, holding a knife and fork in each paw, poking his red tongue out, and wearing a red and brown checkerboard napkin tied around his neck is printed above the printed text "EL COYOTE" in brown, which is flanked by two five-point stars; "Mexican Food & Drink" is printed in green above the staple; on the reverse the same design emblem of the coyote with the restaurant text is printed above the striker; on the reverse between the design emblem and the striker "For the Best in Tex Mex Food..." is printed in green; "Atlas /Diamond, New York" is printed in brown on the manumark; on the interior of the matchcover the design emblem is repeated in solid brown print; "Mexican Food & Drink / 774 Broadway / (Between 9th & 10th Streets) / New York, NY / (212) 677-4291 / Route 46 / Netcong, NJ / (201) 347-8415" is printed in brown on the interior below the design emblem.
