DescriptionBronze struck medal with obverse showing clothed male bust facing left with surrounding legend: " . HUGH H. HANNA . CHAIRMAN OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE INDIANAPOLIS MONETARY CONVENTION . 1897-1900." Reverse contains inscription surrounded by stylized laurel wreath with seal of New York below: "Presented April 5, 1900 / BY THE / Chamber of Commerce / of the State of New York to / Hugh H. Hanna / of Indianapolis, Indiana / IN TOKEN OF GRATITUDE FOR / GOOD WORK DONE ON / BEHALF OF HIS COUNTRYMEN / IN THE CAUSE OF AN / EFFICIENT BANKING SYSTEM / AND OF THE GOLD STANDARD." Medal is inset into square fitted leather case with grey suede interior.
