DescriptionA gold colored metal two-part medal. The top pin bar is embossed "Official" and has a red, white and blue silk ribbon that attaches it to the lower medallion. The lower medallion is circular with a embossed scene of children on stage encirlced by the words "Patriotic Play Week- Children's Year/ City of New York 1918". On the reverse is a oak wreath encircled by the words "Mayor's Committee of Women on National Defense".
