DescriptionA very dark brown colored metal two-part medal. The top pin bar is embossed with a tiny German cross and the words "Pittsburgh K.T. 1898". It is attached to the lower medallion by a chain link. The lower medallion is embossed with a central figure with a spear and sword standing over a fallen enemy encircled by the words "Nemo Me Impune Lacesset/ 1878" and "Commandery Of St. Andrew/ No. 13/ Richmond, VA." "K.T." stands for "Knights Templar".
