DescriptionSilver bow-form serving tongs with double-swell fiddle ends outlined with knot decoration; arms have one pierced shovel grip and one hairy claw grip; one arm engraved "C. K. J." in Old English characters; maker's hallmarks stamped along undersides of arms.
Markingsstamped: on the inside of one arm: "TENNEY" in rectangular surround and "251 B. WAY", also in rectangular surround; second arm stamped with "W & H" in diamond surround framed by conjoined eagle and portrait bust in oval surrounds engraved: on one arm: "C K J" in Old English characters
