These patches were worn by members of an Army or Navy corps on the upper left sleeve of their uniform jacket. One chevron indicates a private first class, two a corporal, and three a sergeant. The curved stripe denotes a staff sergeant.
DescriptionShield-shaped black felt patches; all have white rayon eagle at top, perched over a symbol consisting of a trapezoid stacked on top of a rectangle; and varying numbers of red felt chevrons at bottom of patch; three of the patches have one, two, and three chevrons respectively; other has three chevrons with a curved stripe connected to the top chevron, with the symbol between the stripe and the chevron.ClassificationsMILITARY TOOLS & EQUIPMENT: UNIFORM
