DescriptionKnife and fork with steel blade and tines and porcelain handles with painted blue floral decoration and silver foliate tips; conical handle sockets with incised rings; flat, pointed blade, edged on the curved side; fork with two tines and short molded stem; wooden, trapezoidal case with tooled and gilt foliate scrolls around the edge of the lid and the tooled inscription, "J*S*B/ F.L.B./ 1741" in roman letters; metal hook and eye closures on one side; lined with molded chamois.
