DescriptionRed leather roll-up sewing case resembling an envelope bag, the top flap is scalloped, trimmed with metal edging, and has a metal clasp closing device; when unrolled, the case consists of a three-compartment case lined with green silk, the rear two pouches having accordioned sides, the front having a tabbed flap that tucks into a horizontal strap for closure; opened, there is a bodkin holder underneath the tabbed flap, and this section contains a wool felt sewing book with sewing needles, a notepad with both paper and cardboard leaves, and a place for objects to slide into silk ribbon compartments, secured with stitching to the ground and containing a pair of scissors, covered with two side flaps that fold inward.
