Margaret Wolfe Kane

BiographyMargaret Adelaide Wolfe was the daughter of John Wolfe, the well-known art collector, and a granddaughter of Christopher Wolfe. In 1881, Margaret married Grenville Kane and the couple had five daughters: Mrs. A. Stewart Walker, Edith B. Kane (Mrs. George F. Baker), Dorothy Kane, Mrs. Henry L. McVickar, and Mrs. Garrow T. Geer. Mrs. Kane was a director of the New York School of Applied Design for Women, and was on the national board of the Camp Fire Girls.
