Biography"Sally" Pendleton was the daughter of Elisha Boyd and Lucinda (Tutt) Pendleton of Berkeley County, Virginia. She married Eugene Van Rensselaer (1840-1925) on April 26, 1865 in Baltimore. He was the youngest of 11 children of Stephen van Rensselaer, tenth patroon and eighth lord of the manor. They had 2 children: Elizabeth (Mrs. James Carrole Frazer) and Stephen Van Rensselaer.
