BiographyEdith Cooper Bryce (1854 – 1916) was the daughter of Edward Cooper, mayor of NY, and Cornelia (Redmond) Cooper and a granddaughter of Peter Cooper. She married Lloyd Stephens Bryce (1851-1917) in May 1879. She served as a manager of the NY Exhibit at the Columbian Exposition in 1893. She resided in the Hague from August 1911 to Sept. 1913 while her husband was U.S. Minister to the Netherlands and Luxembourg. She was the mother of Clare (Mrs. J. Sargent Cram), Cornelia E. (Mrs. Gifford Pinchot) and Peter Cooper Bryce
