DescriptionRectangular light blue silk ribbon with band made of gold thread across top, silk ribbon with United States flag motif gathered at center into a bow fastened with metal wire at top center; gold printed lettering: "PROTECTION ENGINE / Co. 5 / BENEVOLENT / ASSOCIATION" above and below image of a hose cart at center of ribbon; bias cut bottom. Pin shaped like a leather fire helmet suspended from a pinback in the shape of an eagle clutching arrows and an olive banch in its talons with wings extended attached below bow at top of ribbon.
