DescriptionOne of a pair of wrought silver salts; shallow, bowl-shaped bodies curved to applied, flared gadrooned lips; three cabriole legs applied to each with trefoil junctures and molded pad feet; engraved on the side of each, "H. C. D. P." in script; De Peyster family crest engraved on the side of each, an armed dexter arm holding a spear or arrow in fess; maker's marks stamped on the bases.
