These vases were purchased in Rome for the donor's mother by Thomas H. Hotchkiss. They are copies of originals in a museum in Naples, Italy.
DescriptionOne of four cast bronze vases on marble pedestals; larger vases with two strap handles and cast mythological imagery including centaurs, smaller vases with ring handles and cast foliate decoration; each urn has removable brass insert and rests on detachable cylindrical marble pedestal base.
