Ornate cream cellulosic plastic badge in gold frame, inscribed in blue: "CAPTAIN"; sewn onto upper edge of blue silk ribbon with imprinted inscriptions in gold: "REBUPLICAN/COUNTY/COMMITTEE/FOR MAYOR/SETH LOW"; circular cellulosic plastic button with photographic portrait of Seth Low, inscribed: "ANTI TAMMANY FUSION CANDIDATE/FOR MAYOR, SETH LOW," is attached at center of ribbon by three metal clips. Circular paper label with manufacturer's name applied at back of ribbon.
