DescriptionBronze struck plaquette with rounded top edge; obverse shows winged allegorical figure of Liberty rising above battlefield; inscription in exergue: "A LA GLOIRE DES ARMEES / DV DROIT ET DE LA LIBERTE." Reverse depicts ornate blank tablet for engraving surmounted by rooster, enclosed within elaborate frame of oak and laurel wreath and military standards.
