DescriptionBronze struck plaquette with rounded top edge; obverse depicting female personification of America descending stairs at center with the Capitol building in background and groups of figures with flags representing other countries at either side at the bottom of the stairs. Reverse shows panoramic view of Manhattan skyline with rectangular tablet for engraving beneath, decorated with laurel swags and inscribed: "AWARDED TO"; inscription below: "INTERNATIONAL.PHILATELIC. EXHIBITION/...NEW YORK 1926..."
