Cramer Dry Plate Works, St. Louis, Mo., U.S.A." On the side, a label reads in black "B/ One Dozen Cramer Plates./ 4 X 5 Emulsion 5493". A label on the bottom reads "A Plates for work not requiring great sensitiveness. B Best plates for ordinary use in portrait and landscape photography. C For drop shutter (Instantaneous) work, large portraits and groups, and all work requiring the utmost sensitiveness."
