DescriptionA brown cardboard box with a white paper label on the top that reads in gold and black "Vega Del Rey/ Affectionettes" around a company symbol that incorporates six flags and two shields flanked by award medallions over a banner that reads "Gran Royal Perfeccion". The remains of a tax revenue label from 1926 provides an approximate date. Inside the lid is the same label as the top and the box still contains six 3 1/2 inch long cigarillos wrapped in silver foil. A partially legible hand written inscription on the bottom reads "Founder Solom [illegible- Solomon? and a last name]/ an immigrant met his wife,/ Annie [illegible] an 1880's immigrant, while rolling cigars/ in a sweat shop."ClassificationsLANDAUER COLLECTION OF BUSINESS AND ADVERTISING EPHEMERA
