This study is also attributed to Victor de Grailly and is a companion to the painting of Kosciuszko's Monument, attributed to de Grailly and cited ante. The identification is likewise based on research by William Nathaniel Banks, and the painting itself is based on an engraving (1837) by G.K. Richardson after the original taken in 1835 by William Henry Bartlett (1809-1854).
