This banner was designed for Rockefeller Center by Kissiloff Associates and manufactured by the Art Flag Company between 1977 and 1995. It was designed to hang from light poles around Rockefeller Center.
DescriptionDouble-weight maroon and white nylon banner in the "Rockefeller Center logo" design with two large partial white Rockefeller Center logos and two smaller complete Rockefeller Center logos (C-shape with four stripes through the center, with center stripes longer than the outer) sewn to the panel; six semi-circular wind holes cut into the center of the banner; maroon nylon hoists at each end with two metal grommets through each; manufacturer's label sewn to the upper right corner of the reverse.
Markingsembroidered: on the label: "Art Flag Company/ INC./ MANUFACTURERS/ FLAGS-BANNERS/ NEW YORK CITY, N. Y."
