This banner was designed for Rockefeller Center by Kissiloff Associates and manufactured by the Art Flag Company between 1977 and 1995. It was designed to hang from light poles around Rockefeller Center.
DescriptionBlack, maroon, orange and ochre nylon banner in the "harlequin-scallop" design; maroon nylon panel on the upper half with black triangles across the top, and a thin, orange, scalloped line dividing it from the lower ochre panel; "ROCKEFELLER CENTER" and the Rockefeller Center logo (C-shape with four stripes through the center, with center stripes longer than the outer) in black nylon sewn to the lower panel; four semi-circular wind holes cut into the center of the banner; two metal grommets through the two hoist ends; manufacturer's label sewn to the upper right corner of the reverse.Markingssewn: lower half of the panel: "ROCKEFELLER CENTER"
