DescriptionLeather and brass sword belt; black leather with sling for scabbard fastened with brass clip to frog sewn on inside left of belt, another scabbard sling clip-fastened to loop near center, and circular brass buckle at right end that fastens to hook on left; buckle has stamped eagle perched atop anchor and six cannonballs in center , encircled by thirteen stars, roping, and wreathed border on front with stamped mark on back; stamped mark at belt tip.Markingsstamped: back of buckle: "HORSTMANN/PHILADA"
