According to the accession records, this object belonged to either Abigail Cornell (1766-1854) who married New York leather merchant Israel Corse in 1810, or to Angeline Burr, wife of Morris Ketchum (1796-1880).
DescriptionColorless cut lead glass plate; circular form with curved sides, scalloped rim and flat bottom; rim cut with strawberry diamonds and fan motifs, sloping sides cut with panels, bottom cut with square strawberry diamonds.
