DescriptionCotton printed textile fragment with repeating pattern of medallion portraits of George Washington: the Crossing of the Delaware, as Commander in Chief, at Valley Forge, and a traditional portrait surrounded by floral decoration; printed in red, green, pink, blue, brown, and tan on an off-white ground.
Markingsprinted: all over: "CROSSING THE DELAWARE/ COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF/ AT VALLEY FORGE"
