This medal was issued by the Society of Medalists in 1935 as part of the series of medals designed by the famous contemporary artists. Designed by Anthony deFrancisci, this example was twelfth in the series and was dedicated to the subject of Creation.

DescriptionStruck silver medal with irregular scalloped edges, obverse having cloud at center, pierced by lightning bolts, with hand emerging from cluster of flames and holding a nude child supported by half-moon; the inscription below: "FIAT/VITA." Reverse shows circular swirls with flames, stars, and lightning zig-zags around central globe.
