Paul Warburg

Remarks: One of the first five members of the Federal Reserve Board in 1914. Appointed by President Woodrow Wilson to the Federal Reserve Board. After the war he was made chairman of the Manhattan Company and of the International Acceptance Bank, New York and also became a director of several large corporations. He was the author of the "Federal Reserve System: It's Origin and Growth" (2 vols, 1931)
