Queen Victoria
Date: 1819–1901
Remarks: Became Queen in 1837 after the death of her uncle William IV. Her reign was one of the longest in British history, ending in 1901. She married her cousin Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and mothered 9 children with him. Her children married into the royal families of Europe, making Victoria a monarch of many European nations. Prime Minister Disraeli crowned her Empress of India 1877. Queen during the passage of the Reform Acts. The 'Victorian Era' was famous for an emphasis on morality and sexual restraint.
