Anne Morgan
Date: 1873 - 1952
Remarks: Daughter of J. Pierpont and Frances Morgan. In 1915, she published "The American Girl: Her Education, Her Responsibility, Her Future" in which she discusses her views on the rights and privleges for the "modern" female in America. During WWI she was a leader in relief work in Post war France for which she recieved a Croix de Guerre (1919) and the Legion of Honor (1924). In 1928, she was elected president of the American Woman's Association. During WWII she again organized relief for the noncombatants of France and Belgium
