Peter Martins

Remarks: Master in Chief of the NYC Ballet Company since the death of George Balanchine and the retirement of Jerome Robbins; Martins became a principal dancer of the NYC Ballet in 1970; he has choreographed over 60 ballets, including The Magic Flute and The Sleeping Beauty; he was made a Knight of The Order of Dannebrog in 1983.
