Robert R. Livingston

Remarks: Robert R. Livingston was elected to the 2nd Continental Congress and was a member of the committee of five who drafted the Declaration of Independence. He was Chancellor of the Supreme court of the State of New York and administered the oath of office to President George Washington. He also was a partner of Robert Fulton, the inventor of the steamboat in 1807
