Elizabeth Gould

Remarks: Elizabeth Lincoln Gould was the daugther of Charles Gould and Sarah (Wheeler) Gould. Miss Gould was a noted woman author in her time. She began writing around 1900, her first works appeared in the "Youth Companion," not long after she wrote plays adapted from Louisa May Alcott's classic "Little Women and Little Men." Her popularity had grown as an author of children's stories with: Little Polly Prentiss (1902), Felicia (1908), and the Admiral's Little Housekeeper (1910).
