Al Gore

Remarks: Al Gore, educated at Harvard and Vanderbilt Universities, served as Vice President to Bill Clinton from 1993 to 2001. However, he began his political career in the 1970¿s when, after having been a Vietnam army reporter, he served in both the House of Representatives, representing Tennessee, and the U.S. Senate. In 2000, in a very controversial election, Al Gore ran for President of the United States and ultimately lost to George W.
