Henry Clay Frick
Date: 1849 - 1919
Remarks: Chairman of the Carnegie Steel Company and was involved in some of the largest business ventures of the era, one of which was the organization of the U.S. Steel Corporation in 1901, of which he later became the director. He had enormous wealth and amassed one of the finest private art collections in America. He left his 5th Avenue mansion and the art treasure as public museum
