Isaac Wyman Drummond
Date: 1855 - 1933
Remarks: Noted Chemist specializing in colors and dyes. He recieved his Ph.D from Columbia in 1879 and the following year joined the paint manufacturing company of Devoe and Reynolds of which he became vice president. He was a trustee of the Bowery Savings Bank. His interests in the arts led to his election to the Board of Directors of the New York School of Applied Design for Woman in 1906. He was a member of the council of the national sculpture Society from its founding in 1893 and of the American Chemical Society
