William M.S. Doyle

Remarks: William M.S. Doyle was the son of a British officer in Boston, before the American Revolution. He was primarily a miniature painter, but could create portraits with crayons. Mr. Doyle was associated with Daniel Bowen, director of the Columbia Museum. And listed in the Boston directory as a miniature painter at the museum.
