Charles Dickens

Remarks: Charles Dickens achieved success as a writer very early in his life, and was able to sustain it until his death in 1870. Dickens took inspiration from his own life and his work is known for its lively and accurate potrayals of London and England at the time. Before being published in book form, his novels were released as monthly installments, and he was often working on more than one novel at a time. His most famous works include Great Expectations, David Copperfield, A Christmas Carol and A Tale of Two Cities, among others. Dickens is buried in Westminister Abbey. -Source:
