Andrew Fisher Bunner

Remarks: Andrew Fisher Bunner, born in New York in 1841, was a landscape painter. He lived in New York for most of his life and exhibited regularly at the National Academy of Design. Bunner's trips outside of New York took place in 1869, when he was living in South Bergen, NJ, and the following year, when he lived in Louisville, KY. from 1883 to 1886, he worked in Venice and produced a number of Venetian landscapes even after his return to New York. Bunner also exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Paris Salon, and was a member of the American Watercolor Society. He died in New York on April 20, 1897.
