Alice Bowers Lee Miller Bacon

Remarks: Alice Bowers Lee was the daughter of John Bowers Lee and Sarah (Hoyt) Lee of South Hampton, Long Island. Her younger sister was Marion Bowers Lee (Mrs. R. Ewell Brown). Miss Lee was married to Ralph G. Miller in 1896, and had two children, Alice L. Miller and R. Gifford Miller. The couple separated about 1910. Mrs. Miller was remarried to James Frederick Bacon in 1912, and the couple resided in New Jersey. Alice Bacon, headed the Short Hills Red Cross Unit during World War I. Mrs. Bacon was active in her parish, and died at her home in New York City.
