Description: Framed oval plaque with copper bas-relief medallion portraits of George Washington (1732-1799), Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865), Ulysses S. Grant (1822-1885), and Schuyler Colfax (1823-1885) on brown velvet in brass medallions on a steel plate engraved, "IN GOD WE / TRUST / THE / Union must and shall be preserved. / THE / PEOPLES / CHOICE / ELECTED / 1868 / NOV.R 3RD / 'LOVE & TEARS FOR THE BLUE' / 'TEARS AND LOVE FOR THE GRAY' / 'LET US HAVE PEACE'"; in wooden frame and matte, matte has Renaissance Revial type carving in the four corners; black painted accent on the frame.
