Description: Landscape: This is a view from the Hudson River looking toward Sneden's Landing at the extreme southerly corner of Rockland County. At the left are the Palisades Cliffs which border the river in northern New Jersey and Rockland County New York.

The landing takes its name from the Sneden family, which for generations in colonial times maintained a ferry across the river to the east shore at Dobbs Ferry in Wetchester County.
