Description: Die struck copper coin; obverse depicts a Native American figure holding a bow and arrow with a star above (as on the state seal of Massachusetts) and the legend "COMMON / WEALTH" reverse depicts an eagle with wings spread out, the body of the eagle is the Unites States shield with the inscription "CENT" the device is surrounded buy the legend "MASSACHUSETS", date at bottom below eagle 1788.
