Description: Colorless non-lead cut glass goblet stained ruby red; tall faceted bucket-shaped bowl with plain recessed rim joined by faceted concave stem to domed base with scalloped edge; 3 of the 4 panels on bowl engraved with images of neoclassical buildings with inscriptions "Steinbad" Stadtbad" and Neubad," underside of base cut with rays.

According to the accession records, this goblet belonged to W.B. Renshaw, commander of the Union gunboat "Wakefield." Renshaw ordered the ship sunk to prevent its capture by the Confederates, and was killed in the explosion. The goblet was recovered when the ship was recovered.
