Description: Olive drab wool militia officer's double-breasted overcoat (mackinaw); double collar with rounded corners; 4 buttons down each side of the front; 4 pockets onthe front with flaps which button closed; general's rank black sleeve knots; belt attached at the waist, with 2 buttons on the right, 2 buttonholes on the left; one panel on the back; unlined; found with 2 strap fragments in one of the pockets.
